Hotel is a little outdated but they are in the middle of major renovations. Hotel is central to a lot of activities, museums/ballgames etc. Breakfast not included but affordable. Restaurants and bar on site, they had a bar right by the door when you walk in for evening nightcap. Would definitely stay again and again whenever we return to KC!

We were pretty disappointed with this stay. The hotel overall felt very worn and in need of serious updates. The carpet throughout the lobby and breakfast area was dirty and torn in multiple places—it honestly looked like it should have been replaced a long time ago. The lobby windows were also noticeably filthy, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Outside, the parking lot sidewalks were cracked and falling apart, which added to the overall neglected feel of the property. The room surprisingly wasn't as bad as the rest of the hotel. Still needs to be updated though. The bed was pretty hard and not very comfortable. But that could just be preference. That said, the one bright spot was the staff. Every employee we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. They consistently greeted us, checked in on how we were doing, and made us feel welcome, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, despite the great service, the condition of the hotel would keep us from staying here again.

The bedroom was super small. The bed was only a queen bed. It was supposed to be a king bed. The elevator is barely worked to only one of them worked, and it was really slow for the price. It definitely was not worth it.
